FAQ

How much does it cost?

Nothing. DawahTools is free to use, with no plans to charge. There is no account and no signup.

What happens to my file after I upload it?

It is processed and then deleted as soon as the job finishes. Results stay available for about two hours, then they are removed. See the privacy policy for details.

Can I add subtitles to a khutbah?

Yes. Upload the recording and choose a subtitled video. You get a video with the captions burned in, and you can download the subtitle file on its own.

Which languages can I translate into?

Any language. Common choices include English, Arabic, French, Spanish, Urdu, Turkish, Indonesian, and Bengali.

What can I translate?

Video, audio, text, and PDF. You can also paste a link from supported sites such as YouTube.

Is the translation ready to publish?

Treat it as a draft. Translation is automatic, so review the result with a qualified speaker before publishing, especially anything that quotes the Qur'an.

Can it translate a PDF and keep the layout?

Yes. PDFs are translated page by page and the original layout is kept.

How long does a job take?

It depends on the length of the file. Progress is shown live on the page, and the page can be closed while the job runs.

What is Al-Bahith?

Al-Bahith is the site's fatwa finder. It searches reliable sources and shows you the original text. It does not answer questions itself.
