How DawahTools handles your files: uploads are deleted when processing finishes, results are removed after about two hours.

What happens to your file, step by step
Your file is saved to a temporary location for the duration of the job.
Once processing finishes, the original file is deleted immediately, whether the job succeeded or failed.
The results (text, audio, video, or PDF) stay available for about two hours so you can download them, then they are deleted.
Jobs live in memory and on temporary disk. There is no long-term storage of your content.
Third-party services
To transcribe, translate, and render, we send your content to the third-party services listed below. Each processes what it receives under its own data policy. The shortest retention and no-training options each provider offers are enabled on the accounts we use.

What we never do
We never use your content to train models.
We never sell your content.
We never store your content beyond the windows above.
What persists
Anonymous usage statistics: page views and job outcomes, kept for about 90 days. Visitors are counted with a daily-rotating hash, and IP addresses are never stored.
Feedback you send through the site's form is kept for about 90 days, then removed.
No cookies are set. The analytics script does not set cookies.
Deleting your content early
Write to us through the contact page and we will delete any remaining copy right away.

If these practices change, this page will be updated before the change goes live.
